Community Events
- Note By Note: This event takes place at The Main on 24266 Main Street on Thursday, June 27th from 7pm until 9pm. The musical showcase is free and features bands and solo artists blending different genres and covering old favorites. This week features Sarah MeeRan Cave, Burton Zimmer Duo, Alesia XO, and the Wardencliff Jazz Quartet.
- Summer Movies in the Park: Enjoy free movies in the park this summer at William S. Hart Park on 24151 Newhall Avenue. This week will feature a screening of Ralph Breaks The Internet, with July featuring Aquaman, Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse, Mary Poppins Returns, and Captain Marvel. A great way for families to enjoy a night out at the movies in one of our city’s loveliest parks!
- King Trivia: Eight & Rail will be hosting King Trivia Night on 22505 8th Street from now through December. The next event takes place on July 1st at 8pm. Have fun with your friends, testing your knowledge and possibly gaining the chance to play for a prize of $10,000! Who doesn’t enjoy a night of trivia and drinks?
- Comedy Mashup: Comedy Mashup will be presenting Jason Cheny at The Main on Friday, July 5th from 8pm until 10pm at 24266 Main Street. Admission is between $10 and $15. Doors open 30 minutes before the show, and beer, wine, and other concessions are available first come, first serve for purchases. The show is recommended for people ages 18 and up. A great date night choice, or if you prefer, a chance to get away and have a few laughs.
